Generation Carbon: It’s time to start. It’s kind of like our planet is holding its breath. If you’ve ever tried to swim under water, you know what it’s like to hold your breath. It’s not comfortable. This is because your body starts to run low on good stu昀昀 (oxygen) and 昀椀ll with not-so-good stu昀昀 (carbon dioxide). Your body needs to exhale the carbon dioxide to get rid of it, before it can 昀椀ll up with oxygen again. This is why the second you’re back above water your mouth opens to breathe. Your body was designed to do this. It needs the oxygen in fresh air. And it needs it as fast as it can get it, so you can feel better and stay healthy. 16 | Check out The Carbon Almanac to learn more.
